Bracknell Higashi Karate Club
Welcome to BHKC website. I'm Tony Sergent (Lil'T) chief instructor for the club, We are a fairly new karate club for the area that i decided to launch in the hope of giving something else to do for the local children.
The club is a part of the well known Higashi karate kai (association), which has many clubs dotted around England and affiliate clubs in Wales and Ireland too. Our style is based around Wado Ryu but has been adapted over the years to keep up with ever changing times.
I hope to bring fun, exciting sport and exercise to children in the community and eventually be a family fun filled club used by many.

NON PROFIT MAKING
We do not keep any profit as a club, all the proceeds that the club make are directly put into covering the cost of the dojo (place of training), Insurance for liability and instructor protection, for obtaining training aids for students such as mat's, kick shields and punch bags etc and hopefully to cover some costs of other courses that students may wish to attend within Higashi or further afield.

As an instructor i do not teach for the money, no payment is taken from any instructor teaching at this club. I teach because i really enjoy training the youngsters and seeing them have fun and develop.
