Bracknell Higashi Karate Club
Bracknell HKC is now going through it's 1st year since opening, and we could really do with the help in making sure its a successful place for our children/teenagers to come along to learn new skills, have fun, make friends, get fit or whatever it is that they want to achieve.

Bracknell HKC is part of Higashi Karate Kai which you can find out more about in the links section by visiting the website. The association is well known in the karate circle and its founder The late Sensei Spanton was one of the first pioneers of karate in England back in the day directly taught by Sensei Tatsuo Suzuki. We are a sporting karate association which strive to compete in competitions world wide.

As new members i am aware that costs could potentially be a high investment. Although i will advertise and promote items of kit please feel free to obtain any gear needed from anywhere you like, i.e second hand market places online etc. I will not worry about branding or styles for the start of this club, all i ask is that the items are of good hygiene, safe for use and practical for the sport we are doing. As we develop then things will change and standards will be more expected of.
We will wear white uniforms (GI) with belts that are listed under the training info pages. As a new club i am happy for parents to stay and watch their children, all i ask is that you do not use it as a meetup and chat throughout the lesson as this will disturb the children from the learning process. For all new members i will ask you to fill out a membership form, which i will have copies of when training and to read and abide by the code of conduct please.
